With a little help from T Bone Burnett, Lisa Marie Presley gets back to bluesy-country basics in 'Storm & Grace' and breaks free from outside expectations.

Lisa Marie Presley doesn't seem to mind that everyone in the penthouse office of Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment in West Hollywood can see her when she extends both of her middle fingers in the direction of a reporter.

"This album is a lot more stripped-down and naked, both musically and lyrically," says Presley. "It's me without any attitude or anger at a time of rediscovery."

Lisa Marie Presley has always had stardom in her blood -- and now she's passed it on to her kids! Most notably, her daughter Riley Keough, 23, is making like her grandaddy Elvis and getting into movies (she's also reportedly engaged to actor Alex Pettyfer, 22).

"I'm so proud!" says her mama, Lisa Marie, who just released her rootsy third CD, Storm & Grace (produced by T-Bone Burnett). I chatted with Presley recently about the effort, her growing three-year-old twins Finley and Harper and the one gig she just couldn't play.

More than 500 fans lined up against the famous brown brick façade of Sun Studio, 706 Union Ave. Monday, May 14, to meet singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, who made her historic first public appearance at the legendary recording studio that launched the career of her father, music icon Elvis Presley.
